At Canbury School, we take immense pride in our exceptional students, whose determination and spirit consistently inspire us. This year’s exam cohort, though small, has achieved remarkable success, demonstrating resilience and a commendable ‘can-do’ attitude. 

We celebrate difference and harness the unique talents of each individual. At Canbury, we foster an inclusive environment where students feel valued and empowered to pursue their passions.

Summer 2024 Public Exams 

Number of students = 10

Entries = 61

Percentage of students who were entered for at least five GCSE gaining Grade 4+ in five or more subjects = 62.50%

Number of grade 9 to 7 GCSEs awarded = 3

Number of grade 6 to 4 GCSEs awarded = 36

Number of grade 1 to 3 GCSEs awarded = 20

Number of Functional Skills English Level 2’s awarded = 1

Number of Functional Skills Maths level 2’s awarded = 1

Number of students = 12

Entries = 63

Percentage of students who were entered for at least five GCSE gaining Grade 4+ in five or more subjects = 84%

Number of grade 9 to 7 GCSEs awarded = 22

Number of grade 6 to 4 GCSEs awarded = 28

Number of grade 1 to 3 GCSEs awarded = 13

Number of students = 11

Entries = 74

Percentage of students who were entered for at least five GCSE gaining Grade 4+ in five or more subjects = 82%

Number of grade 9 to 7 GCSEs awarded = 24

Number of grade 6 to 4 GCSEs awarded = 36

Number of grade 1 to 3 GCSEs awarded = 14

 

Destinations

Our students go on to a variety of further education settings, including sixth forms and college. Some undertake apprenticeships. Most common destinations have included Richmond College, Kingston College, Esher College, Merristwood and NESCOT.
