Canbury School Sixth Form
Canbury School offers a bespoke curriculum to meet the requirements of our students and external candidates who are academically and socially able to undertake post-16 courses, and all within a emotionally and socially supportive environment. The Sixth Form curriculum is a full time, onsite timetable where all subjects are taught, and therapies delivered, as per the student’s needs and/or EHCP. Work experience will be off site and coordinated by an external provider.
Sixth Form students will be taught in small groups for resits and GCSE/BTEC Level 3 courses. Level 2 BTEC courses will be taught in combination with KS4 students.
Students are taught within the purpose built Sixth Form building, which contains tutorial rooms and a common room.
Places are limited and will be allocated first to current Canbury School Year 11 students.
