Speech and Language Therapist (Part-Time)
Hours negotiable
Canbury School provides a unique environment, for both students and staff alike. A co-educational day secondary school with a maximum of 76 students on roll and no more than 15 children in each year and class, we are small, and deliberately so. We provide a high level of care and very good educational facilities up to GCSE and each student is treated very much as an individual, hence our motto “Embracing Difference and Harnessing Talent”
Conveniently accessible from all of South-West London and Surrey, this is an exciting time to join this friendly, close-knit and supportive team, and become part of its continuing success.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to support students with needs including Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Mild Learning Disabilities and associated behaviours. This will be carried out in close collaboration with all teaching and support staff, to develop the students’ overall communication and language skills with a focus on functional skills in everyday life.
Working as part of a team is vital and he/she should be able to work constructively within a cohesive and very busy school where each individual child matters. It is essential that the person appointed enjoys working with young people.
For more information about the role, please review the job description and person specification. To apply, please complete the application form and return it to The Bursar at [email protected].
CVs will not be considered
